In this part we make the grooming oil for our stylish gentleman. The plant oil combination has nourishing, conditioning and shining effect without any unpleasant greasiness. It pampers the skin and has anti-inflammatory effect. The blend of essential oils and extracts are skin soothing, wound-healing. The woody smell would bring your gentleman right into the heart of a cedar forest.
As always and before we start please go and have a look at our previous posts regarding hygienic manufacturing practice in a cosmetic lab and basic equipments for a cosmetic lab.
Here is what you need for this project (100 gr beard oil)
1,5% Arnica extract or maceration in a carrier oil(1,5 gr)
1,5% Eucalyptus extract or maceration in a carrier oil (1,5 gr)
You'll need as well:
A glass beaker (250 ml) or other suitable container for mixing
Bottles to fill the oil like our Bella bottle with a lotion pump or a simple transparent bottle
Here we go:
Simply mix all ingredients in a beaker at room temperature. Fill it in beautiful bottles and close the lid. Easy peasy. Be aware that the scent stabilizes/fixes after about 2 days to 1 week.
I hope you'll enjoy making oil and the recipient would enjoy applying it.
