Hi Everyone,
we've cut these cute little feet out of our Pear & Apple soap. I'm not going into details of the soap and will only mention the recipe here. However don't hesitate to ask me if you have any questions or anything is uncertain.
The soap is a CP soap made with:
25% Rapeseed oil (Rapsöl)
25% Sunflower oil (Sonnenblumenöl)
18% Soybean oil (Sojaöl)
12% coconut oil (Kokosnussöl)
10% partially hydrogenated Soybean oil (teilhydriertes Sojaöl)
7% Babassu oil (Babassuöl)
3% Castor oil (Rizinusöl)
In addition to the above oils I've added 5% rice bran oil (Reiskeimöl) at trace as super fat which I didn't bring into lye calculation. I didn't calculate any water-discount and applied the 100% of water which was created by soap calc.
I've applied
Oxide green (dispersed in Glycerin), (about 2,0)
3,0% fragrance oil green apple
2,0% fragrance oil pear
Instruction:
After bringing the soap to a light trace (the recipe is palm free and doesn't come to a real trace), I've added the fragrance mixture and divided the soap into two non equal parts, about 2:1, by eye-balling. Then I added rice bran oil with the dispersed color to one part and then poured the different colors (yellow and green) alternatively into the mold.
The molds were covered in blankets and the soap was out of mold and cut after 3 days. After another day (the soap was still soft) the soap bars were cut with cookie cutters into these cute foot shapes. Take care to cut your soap as long as it is still soft.
I wish you joy and success by trying this recipe.
BeHappy and have fun
