Hi guys,
I have something exciting to share with you. We've recently added an amazing ingredient into our portfolio. This ingredient is VEGELURON ® GEL, a completely natural, plant based ingredient which is approved by Ecocert.
This is a blend, a transluscent gel with amazing hydrating properties. The main ingredient is Tremella Fuciformis (snow mushroom) extract. A polysaccharide composed of mannose units substituted with xylose and
glucuronic acid units. Tremella fuciformis is a well know mushroom in Asia being applied as food, medicine and cosmetic ingredient. Vegeluron is considered as a plant based alternative to hyaluron and it is really not exaggerated. The gel is preserved with a preservative blend being accepted in natural cosmetics. It has a viscosity around 16,000-20,000 mPaS and you can dilute the gel with water or a hydrosol up to 50% without any significant loss in the viscosity. It means you can apply Vegeluron as it is as a high concentrated serum, dilute it to 50% with your desired hydrophilic ingredients and apply it still as a high viscosity serum or you can blend it from 1-10% in creams, lotions, tonics and similar cosmetics.
INCI Name: Water /Aqua (&) Propanediol (&) Tremella Fuciformis (Mushroom) Extract (&) Gluconolactone
Preservatives: Gluconolactone (&) Sodium Benzoate
Please be aware that the Propanediol applied in Vegeluron is plant based and the whole product is approved by Ecocert.
I've prepared a very simple but effective eye contour serum with Vegeluron. You can simply replace the rose hydrosol with another hydrosol or a blend of hydrosols. Since my hydrosol was already preserved, I didn't apply any additional preservative. You may want to apply preservatives depending on other ingredients you're going to use.
Here is my super easy formulation. Everything is blended @ room temperature and in just one step.
Don't forget to disinfect your vessels and bottles as well as your working counter before you start.
Brilliant eyes eye serum:
Cabbage rose floral 37,0%
Glycerin 2,5%
Panthenol 0,5%
Blend all ingredients in a clean beaker. Fill in an airless or a lotion bottle. As easy as that.
