Micellar waters are one of the most attractive multifunctional skin care products with a huge demand (and shortage) of truely organic and natural products.
Micellar waters combine at least two of the following feautures:
- skin cleansing
- makeup removal
- eye makeup removal (both water proof and water based)
- toner
- moisturizer
When you know the basics, the rest is as easy as making a tea and I wonder why there are not more natural products available on the market. The majority of fthe products, even the luxury class are filled with PEG-derivatives, sulfate and ether sulfates not of them really mild or attractive enough to be allowed to remain on the skin as a micellar water.
If you've missed our previous posts about micellar waters please go and have a look at them before proceeding with this tutorial:
For this mild and soothing micellar water we've used hamamelis (without alcohol) & chamomile hydrosol as well as a hydroglyceric extract of chamomile. The procedure is quite easy and fast. Look for yourself.
As always before we start I want to recommend you to read our older posts: hygienic manufacturing practice in cosmetic lab and introduction to Basic equipments and utensil for a cosmetic lab.
