Lip balms are all-around the year products and one can never have enough of them.
This is why we're making this tinted lip balm with a whiff of an Arabian coffee.
For the colour, we've used cocoa powder and for the scent we've used coffee and cardamon CO2 extracts.
I've prepared this balm as a stick. You need to adjust the hardness to your climate and feel free to reduce the waxes and adapt the formulation to a "lip balm in a jar" if you prefer a jar over a stick.

Procedure:
1- Blend each phase separately in a beaker.
2- Heat phase A in a water bath between 80-85 oC. Ascorbyl palmitate needs this high temperature to melt in the butter/wax phase. If you don't use any ascorbyl palmitate, you need to heat the butter phase according to the melting point of your waxes and butters.
3- Heat phase B in another water bath @ around 30 oC. The powders (allantoin and cocoa powder) do not dissolve in phase. You just need to stir and keep them suspended
4- When phase A is melted and ascorbyl palmitate is dissolved, add phase B to phase A (phase A is still in the hot water bath), blend quickly and pour into suitable molds.
5- Put the molds for a few hours in the fridge (we put them overnight).
6- remove the molds/tubes from the fridge and enjoy the Arabian flair and the silky touch of this lip balm.
