It's finally here!
And we are ready to share projects we've been working on for some 9 months (Update: it's about one year now)
Don't be intimidated!
This is a very forgiving material. Why it took such a long time for us to finally share the projects is because it took an eternity since we could stock this ingredient.
Anyway, ladies and gentlement we proudly announce (drum roll)....
Polyglyceryl-4 oleate as a plant based, naturally derived and palm-free emulsifier for creating self-emulsifying oils and balms.
This could be processed both cold and hot and creates a lovely skin feel after rinsing.
Today, I'm going to share a cooling, minty shower oil for this crazy hot summer. It's an easy, cold process and one-pot procedure meaning you can blend all ingredients at room temperature and in a single phase.
Feel free to swap the oils and extracts according to your own taste and requirements. Depending on your ambient temperature, some of your oils and extracts might be semi-solid as you use them. Just heat them gently in a water bath @ 40 oC before you blend them. Test the stability, the texture and appearance of your formulation at high and low temperatures (depending on your climate conditions and where you may ship the product) before you release it.
