The moment I had my hands on the chili CO2 extract I knew I'm going to make some warming products for this winter.
This is a lovely foot melt to help chilled and aching feet and legs. Do not confine yourself to the feet and feel free to apply the balm to other parts of the body (please read cautions about working with chili CO2 extract on our shop before you make or apply any product containing this extract)
The manufacturing process is pretty much straightforward and like any other body melt. You may need to tweak the formulation and adjust the melting point to your ambient temperature.

Procedure:
1- Heat phase A in a water bath between 80-85 oC. Ascorbyl palmitate needs this high temperature to melt in the butter/wax phase. If you don't use any ascorbyl palmitate, you need to heat the butter phase according to the melting point of your waxes and butters.
2- Blend phase B in another beaker. Keep in mind that none of the powders melts in the oil. You need to blend this phase to keep the powders suspended.
3- When all of phase A is melted uniformly stop heating and remove the beaker from the bath. Add phase B and blend. Stir at room temperature every now and then till you reach a thick trace.
4- Add the essential oils and pour into a suitable mold. Bring the mold into fridge and let it stay there between 12-24 hours.
5- Remove from the mold and wrap in wax paper.
6- Enjoy the gorgeous colour and the warmin properties of this melt.
