I fell for "body melts" or "lotion bars" or whatever you call them long before "waterless beauty" was a topic. I find this product extremely versatile as a treat, a gift or a personal care product on the go or at home and even as a professional massage product.
Anyway I have published tens of recipes on this blog and since Easter just around the corner I'm going to share the recipe for these cute body melts today.

Procedure:
1- Weight all of the ingredients of phase A in a heat proof beaker and melt in a water bath at around 80 oC. This temperature is need for ascorbyl palmitate (Vitamin C). If you're working without ascorbyl palmitate, adapt the temperature to your wax with the highest melting point.
2- Blend all of the ingredients in phase B in another beaker. You need to keep the powders suspended in the oil.
3- When all of phase A is melted to a smooth and uniform liquid stop heating and remove from the bath. Add phase B and pour into mould cavities.
4- Put the moulds in the fridge for at least 12 hours.
5- Remove from the mould and pack in wax paper.
