For this winter, we have prepared a new version of our warming body melts with chili extract.
Bodymelts or lotion bars are quite popular and specifically practical during cold months. If you're living in tropical regions then probably body melts are not the best choice for you but otherwise, they are easy to make and fun to use. You don't need any preservative, you don't use water which is a precious resource and you don't need any plastic for packaging.
We have lost some of our footage during editing so I don't have the complete video but I think you'll be able to follow me and remake this product.

Procedure:
1- Heat phase A in a water bath @80-85 oC. This temperature in needed for incorporation of ascorbyl palmitate (vit C). If you don't use this ingredient, a temperature between 60-65 oC would be enough.
2- As you are waiting for phase A to melt blend phase B and C in separate beakers
3- As all of phase A is melted to a uniform blend stop heating and remove from the water bath.
4- Blend as the liquid cools down.
5- At a temperature around 40-45 oC add phase B and blend.
6- Stir further as the blend cools down.
7- At a low trace add the powder phase. Use a sieve to avoid the clumping of the powder.
8- Blend completely and pour in your desired molds.
9- Put the molds in the fridge and remove them after at least 4-5 hours.
10- Remove the pieces from the mold and wrap them in tissue or wax paper.
