Activated charcoal (which is a physically treated charcoal with increased surface area and much higher absorption capacity compared to conventional charcoal) is one of the most versatile cosmetic ingredients and quite IN at the moment.
In today's post, I'll show you to make a gel-to-milk cleanser and mask (cleanser for lazy people like me and mask for people who indulge themselves with a facial mask at home) which is self-preserving, needs no preservative and easily turns to milk and rinses away by applying water to it.
The start of the product is Sapogel Q which is the ingredient that helps you make amazing oleogels and gel-to-milk products. If you have never worked with Sapogel Q beore, please watch this short video before you proceed.

Procedure:
1- Blend phase A and B in separate beakers @room temperature.
2- Blend the powder phase in another beaker
3- Slowly and by using a sieve add the powder (phase C) to phase B. This avoids clumping of the powder. Add the powder in small quantities and completely blend after each addition.
4- Start adding the oil+powder phase to the sapogel Q phase. Add in small quantities and blend completely after each addition. An overhead stirrer is quite handy and helpful. You can use a magnetic stirrer (for small quantities) but as the viscosity increases you need to prolong the stirring time or move to manual stirring.
5- After all of (B+C) is added to phase A take your stability samples and fill the oleogel in suitable containers. Tubes are the best possible option for this kind of product because you want to protect the product (which is not preserved) from accidental addition of water.
