You remember that wonderful Chili infusion we prepared earlier?
Now it's time to prepare a warming chili-butter for cold winter days
We prepared beautiful red Chili infusion in an earlier tutorial. Now we'll make a warming butter for cold days. This butter with chili infusion, shea butter and warming essential oils of ginger and rosemary is an excellent skin care product for cold feet and cold hands specially in winter days (and nights).
Caution: Chili, ginger and rosemary accelerate circulation. In case of high blood pressure consult your physician before applying these ingredients. Avoid applying chili oil in case of any skin cuts, burns and injuries. It may cause irritations. Avoid any contact of Chili and chili infused oil to mucous membrane (mouth, eyes, nostrils etc.).
Before we proceed, please have a look at our earlier posts on Basic equipment and utensil for a cosmetic lab and hygienic manufacturing practice in cosmetic lab.
For this project (50 gr Chili butter) you'll need:
0,5% Tocopherol (Vitamin E) (0,25 gr)

Two: After the shea butter is melted stop heating and add the chili infused oil and tocopherol. Stir with a glass rod or any suitable instrument as the mixture cools down.
Three: At a temperature around 45 add the essential oils. Mix and fill in suitable jars.
According to the concentration of chili in the infusion, the butter may have an orange to red color.
