I want to make this. However, money is very tight, as is time. My Christmas with my family got postponed due to weather conditions in the state they live in (unsafe to drive from OH to MI during their ice storm). With that said, I was wondering what would maybe work in place of the 2.0% Polyglyceryl-3 Olivate phosphate and the 10.0% Olive oil Glycereth-8 ester?
I have Emulsifying Wax Pastilles, Glycerin and Lanolin. I also have a Beeswax block and a bag of tiny little wax beads. Would any of these things work in place? Or is there something that I could inexpensively locate at the drug store or health food store that would at least come close to this? I do have a ton of different oils, both solid and liquid, also.
Thank you so much and I look forward to hearing from you, hopefully sooner than later!

hank you for your interest in this recipe. Unfortunately the two missing ingredients are the most important ones for the consistency, the after feel and the water solubility/dispersibility of the product. You may exchange one butter with another or apply another soap but these two are emulsifiers/solubilizers which guarantee a silky feel after you've rinsed the skin with water.
Olive oil glycereth-8 esters is an innovative unique ingredient with dispersibility in oil and water. There might be something else on the market with this characteristics, but it is not known to me. I can not guarantee this consistency and skin feel if you substitute one of those ingredient with another. I could say : trial and error. Try other ingredients, but if you're short of time and short of ingredients, then it might not be the best solution.
Sorry that I can not help you further.
Have a nice time and enjoy your trials.
