With our love for natural ingredients we sometimes neglect the fact that they could carry some hazards and could not be applied without any hesitation or limitation. One of these cases is the application of essential oils in natural cosmetics and perfumery. 

In an earlier post we discussed about Flavonoids and that they belong to polyphenols. Resveratrol is another phytochemical belonging to polyphenols. However, it belongs to "non-flavonoid" polyphenols.

This is probably not the most attractive subject to start 2015 with, however since I'm busy at the moment with GMP documentations, I decided to dedicate the first post of this year to cosmetic GMP.

Anyway, a discussion in a FB group and then finally this newly published article brought me finally to write this post.
